light!

my dad just repaired my toilet light.
FINALLY I CAN STOP BATHING IN THE DARK!
and then i realised my toilet is so dirty... didn't notice last time cause it was always dark.
shall clean up abit later when i go shower. :/

first interview today at k!
kind of exciting, cause like it's the very first job interview.
not very related to my course so chances don't seem very high, i'll take it as practise!
i almost lost my way to the shipyard... luckily found it just in time.
interviewers are some hr manager and shipyard manager... intimidating but they're quite nice.
they asked loads of questions!
from my family background, to my poly stuff, to my uni stuff, to db, to myself, etc etc.
luckily just nice i was looking through my past project reports last night... so remembered a little bit of stuff.
felt kind of tired after all the talking and jittery.
it's been so long since i went for an interview, and this is for real somemore... was really quite nervous, and i think i sounded nervous too.
need more practise!

i hope i get through! they'll let me know next week i think.
management trainee they offered was actually not bad... get to do everything for the first two years.
but i'm really not sure cause like i think marine/shipping students would be more appropriate actually.
it's just kind of no link for a chem engine student to be working at a shipyard. :/
oh wells. at least i tried!

and through the interview i think i knew more about myself.
i realised... i'm really inclining towards safety... cause that's all i could think about.
i like the responsibility of ensuring that the people around me get to go home safely each day after work.
i don't know what else do i want to do.
but of course... i'm still gonna have an open heart and keep my options open.
maybe after some work experience i'll go take some some part-time safety specialist diploma. :)))

and i'm finally gonna change my phone!
i finally succumb to technology... iphone 4.
i know i'm kind of slow... but whatever right... my phone is dying. hurhur.
gonna change plan also...
singtel 700 mins outgoing, 500 sms free (but there's always what's app), 12GB data plan, and free caller ID blah blah blah.
all for a price of $35 a month, plus i get 32GB iphone 4 for free.

handed in fyp 2nd report alreadyyyy!
our sub-group is way too efficient, we finished it so quickly we were kind of puzzled and wondering if we're doing it correctly or not. lol
one more report and we're doneeeeee.
but next report is gonna be combined 10-men groupppp.
hopefully it'll be more efficient than our first report... if not... :S

and i finally attended all my classes this week! super proud of my accomplishment!
okay larh not all.. i didn't go human resource management...
but what the heck it's kind of like an elective... not counted.
i went for my first ICP lecture... and it's week 10 already.
better late than never right? :X
shall just enjoy the remaining few lectures i have as a student. heh.
also trying to enjoy the remaining few weeks in hall...
aww... everything's ending so quickly.

i feel so relaxed this semester... my engine can't start.
like everybody's so stressed out with quizzes, classes, projects, fyp...
but i'm like... floating and chilling. why huh.
i just don't feel as though i have a lot of work to do, somehow. :/
maybe when exams come then i'll know.
then again, i only have 4 paper, like the least in my whole uni life! wheeeeee.
can't wait to get over and done with it.
but then again i think i'll miss everything! :(
