Happy New Year!
it's finally 2009.
this blog is collecting dust and cobwebs.
and since it's a new year, i decided to do some updates.
2008 ended in a bad note for us.
i'm sorry.
i don't know how many times i've said those two bloody words.
actually do hate myself for over-using them.
sometimes, i just don't know what's going on and don't know what to do.
give me another chance?
can we have a fresh start for 2009? :(
i'm going to do some reflections tonight...
tomorrow, everything will start new, fresh.
What Happened in 2008:
- trainings, trainings and more trainings.
- first time as pacer in MR500.
- failed a module in second semester of Year 1.
- holiday in Phuket, Thailand with vivi! :D
- lost the bloody PM Cup.
- participated in first international race - Club Crew World Championships (held in Penang).
- turned 21.
- got my Oakleys half jacket! :D courtesy of Phoenix and vivi!
- won Crocs at Sava Sprints. gave to mum.
- inherited sis's junk car, white Honda Jazz. :)
- became Captain of Phoenix. -_-"
- got my Seiko watch for Christmas! :D courtesy of mum!
- holiday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with vivi, Jasmine and Jess!
- GPA finally above 4.0 for first semester of Year 2 to make up for previous semester! phew!
2008 was an 'okay' year i guess.
it wasn't the best, but it wasn't that bad either.
but i guess... nothing bad happened to my loved ones.
so that's something good right? :)
next up!
resolutions! -_-"
i know i won't follow them in the end.
but this time round i'm going to really try!
Resolutions for 2009:
- make an effort to attend classes! got to maintain my 2nd class honours! :(
- start anew with vivi. :)
- save more, spend less!
- more holidays to places i've never been to! :D
- bulk up, improve fitness and rowing.
- no, i'm not going to put "win PM Cup" here. cause i think it's stupid. what i want, is to...
- bring the team together and to really move forward together, row heart together, as one.
not much resolutions.
should keep it to a minimal and just aim for those few which are most important to me.
what's the point of making so many and end up not completing any of them?
anyway, too lazy to continue.
ending off here! :)
