bloody hell it just started to pour again!
to think it was so bright and sunny just now, not to mention hot and humid.
got to leave the room soon!
hand in my final lab assignment for the semester and it's off to town!
been like a gazillion years since i last step into town.
okay maybe not so long or i would have to be a ghost right now.
but it's been really long.
going to catch Step Up 2 and have dinner with Vivien!
that woman!
came back on Thursday and didn't inform me at all until she surprised me on Saturday night.
damn glad she's back though.
missed her so much. :)
had a long weekend!
went home after training on thursday.
and only came back this afternoon.
took me a great deal of determination to not cab. :S
well, at least it's been working!
haven't been cabbing for quite some time already.
great way to save some cash. heh.
the weekends was spent... training and sleeping. :X
i think i haven't slept so well and so much since god knows when.
took naps on both saturday and sunday after training.
feel more energized! but, still pretty restless.
not as much as in the past though. :)
oh yesterday Dad came to fetch me home after training!
saved me so much time.
cause we had planned to go view showflats and stuff.
not intending to move yet, just looking around.
cause well, there's only like 5 people in the family and we're living in this 3 storey semi-detached house.
mmm... kind of a waste.
plus it's not easy to maintain the house. :S
Cheryl's hardly at home anymore so like... only 3 rooms out of the 5 rooms are being utilized.
not considering the fact that i'm only home during weekends.
but i guess we're not going to move just yet.
property prices don't seem too good now.
i got a feeling it's going to reach an all-time-high soon and plunge straight down!
hahaha. that's always the case.
so better not take the risk yet.
the condominiums and apartments these days are so tiny!
we went to see the new "condominium" at Bedok Reservoir.
i would say it is ridiculous.
okay they did made good effort in decorating their showflat.
but if you really go think about it, the biggest flat they have is still small!
the only reason why the showflat looked good is because they had an LCD television, which saved a lot of space.
and of course, the furnitures and decor looked good.
put aside everything, you basically have not much space. :/
plus it was going at about $1.2 million for a 99 year plan.
like, 99 years... you basically don't own anything.
i'd rather get an average-aged 4-room HDB which would be about the same size or maybe even bigger.
spend some money on renovations and furnitures.
it'll be half the bloody price! :X
then we went around Telok Kurau to look somemore.
quite a few new cluster apartments going up!
the first one we looked at was not bad, Espira Spring or something like that.
the size was not too bad and not over-priced.
and it's going at about $1 million, freehold.
now Dad likes penthouses too! :D
influenced him. heh.
the thing with apartments though, is that you don't own any land even though it's freehold.
hmm.
ahhhhh. shall continue looking around.
the property agents were really trying very hard.
Dad and Mum were tring to be funny.
after being hounded by the various property agents, they gave up.
and told them that it's up to me. -_-"
so they came hounding me. :(
one of them even messaged me after that cause i was the one who signed the guestbook and all.
like hello, i'm only 20. :X
Dad actually taught me a lot about property!
okay maybe we are not exactly professionals, but it's good to discuss and know.
i'm never going to invest in something which i won't ever own.
like a 99 year house or apartment.
unless it's HDB since it'll be half the price and we can always re-sell it or get something back from the government if they decide to tear the building down.
okay i'm running out of time!
laters!
